Custody/visiting Mexico
My child’s dad lives in a different state. I am from El Paso and want to take my 3yo to Juarez. I have sole managing conservative custody. I do have to inform him of doctor visits and any school related appointments. Do I have to ask him for permission for my son to cross the border? (Meaning to leave the country.) His dad will be against it and will make a huge deal if I even bring it up. I just want to go for an afternoon and I don’t want a huge fight and avoid threats

Technically that’s leaving the country so you might have to get permission… I’d reference the divorce decree or custodial rules to see if you need to or not
