First, I owe everyone an apology for missing our pod this morning!

My little one decided sleep was optional last night and was up until 3:00 AM 😭😂. After that adventure, there was absolutely no way I was making it up bright and early for our 9:00 AM chat.

Thank you for understanding! Parenthood keeps us humble, doesn’t it? 💀

Is this okay ?

I feel like a bad mum but currently on my own while dad takes our eldest out and I really need the toilet (tmi but 3 days post C-section so going toilet obvs takes a little longer than normal) I’ve put my boys in their cot like this with camera . Is this okay just while I go toilet 😅

With my first I would do this without hesitation but it just feels weird leaving two babies?

(The bathroom is literally 5 steps from their room)

Party Snacks

Hey I am trying to throw a party for kids and I’m trying to figure out what kind of snacks I should put out for adults. What snacks would you want to have if you were attending a kids party?

8 months post partum and this is the messiest my house has EVER been

I'm having a moment because I just wanted to go to church today but couldn't because the way my son's first morning nap fell so couldn't get us ready in time. I managed to shower whilst he was asleep and now I'm just sat on the side of my bed in my towel crying and looking at the clothes on the floor on the bedside, clothes on the floor in front of the bed and then some more in the sitting room. I used to be such a clean organised freak and I get your house can't be perfect with a baby but does it ever get better because this mess is unbearable. A clean house helps me to have an organised mind. I knew having a baby would be hard but this is just A LOT.

Anxious attatchment

Hey so I'm an anxious person, I've been through an emotional abusive relationship. I'm now dating someone new. Now he's very private. I seen him liking girls pictures on instagram and I got upset I went abit over board I must admit. He's now deleted me of insta and changed his profile to private. He assures me he's not up to anything but said I went a little crazy. He also pretty much ignores me after I 'start a fight' even though I'm trying to get him to understand how I feel. He gets very defensive, I'm immature and shuts down on me. I struggle with that as I need to talk about it. I kinda know what the answer is but when we're actually together we get on great 😬 I've deactivated fb/insta as it's fueling my anxiety too.

My mom hates my husband

What would you do if your mom is constantly making rude comments towards your husband?

She’s just constantly making rude comments and saying how he doesn’t know what he’s doing. My husband is a really good mechanic for heavy diesel equipment, and mining equipment. He knows what he’s doing. He works at one of the highest paying jobs in our state for being a mechanic

And they don’t seem to understand that, he’s tried to offer to help with changing simple parts on their vehicle and every time they deny and take it to a shop and are super rude about it and it really hurts his feelings because he knows he’s a good mechanic.

Every time I talk to her, she’s just constantly saying little things about him and it’s so frustrating
