ParaGard experience.

I just need to vent! 🥺 As soon as I had my baby boy, my OB-GYN suggested I use the ParaGard IUD. I thought it was a good idea because I always get bad migraines and didn’t want any hormones in my body! But it was the worst thing I've ever done. I had to get used to bleeding A LOT during my periods 😩🥺long periods and a lot of blood loss. 😞 Then, after two years, I started to feel terrible and found out I had anemia. 🥺 I got worried and decided to have it removed. Now my periods are super light, with only one day of heavy bleeding. 🥺 I feel so bad because I didn't listen to my body

It’s not your fault. We put our lives in hands of doctors who we assume are doing what’s best for us but some only care about the money coming from it at the end of day. As long as you’re doing well now that’s all that matters. Stay positive and try to move past it. I know two years is a lot but you will recover.

More than one baby

How did you decide you wanted more than one kid? I have one babygirl… she’s 9 months and it’s HARD how do you manage multiple kids? Specifically in the patience category.

Has anyone here done the Ferber method? If so did it work? And how long did your LO cry for one day one (and subsequently)?

Adoption mentioned due to gender

Some information will be vague in case the person is on here
A family member went to a private scan today to find out the gender of their baby. I had a gut feeling it was a boy and she was so sure it was a girl and was hoping it was because she already has a boy. So she is told she is having a boy and has a breakdown and said in front of amother family member who went with her that she just wants to put the baby up for adoption. Her partner hasn't said anything about her saying this, but has made it known he doesn't care what the baby is he is just happy having a second child. I went through the system myself so this has really affected me and I just want to have a go at her for even thinking about putting a baby up for adoption just because of the gender, there isn't any other reason she said this just the gender. I haven't but would I be out of order saying to her that her saying that has upset me and it is so wrong to say about putting the baby up for adoption just based on the gender. I have lost all respect due to this but don't want to completely ruin our relationship for our children's sake because they have done nothing wrong and shouldn't have their relationship ruined because of what the family member has said
