Different feeling second time

Does anyone feel different this time who’s having their second baby? I can’t quite work out what it is, I’m so excited to meet my baby and for my daughter to meet her new brother. Some days I feel like I can’t wait other days I don’t feel fussed it’s so strange. 🫣

Yeah I feel excited but unfortunately the overwhelmed feeling overrides it at the moment. I’m so worried for my son because he’s autistic, I always wonder whether I’ve made the right decision for him and then the guilt kicks in 🙄

Yes, I feel the same. I have a nearly 4yo daughter and 39wks now, I am excited but it’s definitely not the same as last time and I kind of feel guilty about that too.
I have spoken to friends with more than one and it does seem to be common/normal for it all to be a bit different - not quite the same level of excitement - so I’m not worried per se, it’s just a bit of a strange one I guess x

Need somewhere to rant before I loose my head.

Why do people feel the need to constantly text and call you leading up to your due date and the day afterwards asking if there’s been any update if the baby has been born.

Told people multiple times I will let them know when she’s here, yet me and my partner are still getting asked EVERY SINGLE DAY if there’s any update. No there isn’t she’s still inside my vagina go away!
I get they’re excited so are we; we’re ready to meet our child but for the love of god leave me alone.

At the point of just turning me phone off and throwing it in the bin!

Moms with more than one kiddo! When did you start showing for your second or third kiddo? This is my second and I want to see if I can hide it for a little while longer

Just want you to know ….

I just had my baby 5 days ago I also had my little boy almost 2.5 years ago, both pregnancies towards the end I was petrified and full of anxiety, both pregnancies I went into natural labour & both ended up in C sections. Just want you all to know every second is worth it & to not be scared, trust your body & your baby. The happiest most magical time of your life is almost there 🩷🩷🩷

Pregnancy announcements not hitting the same anymore 😭 as soon as I see one I’m like damnnn congratudolences lol 🤷‍♀️ it’s not a time to be alive, I fear we’re in grave climates. ESP if you live in the states. Ughhhh I just hope the future gets brighter for these kids. Anyways what’s for dinner?
