Naturally inducing labour?

I know lots of people have posted about this already but I needed to make my own because I’m low key freaking out.
I just saw the consultant, she said everything is looking great except my blood pressure is a little high and my BMI is high. She said that I need to go to a day assessment clinic once a week to be monitored for my blood pressure and to keep an eye on any swelling etc.
She also says she advises I be induced between 39 and 40 weeks.

What old wives tales can I try to make sure I don’t need the induction? 🙃
Any other advice?

(I know everyone says “just say no” but if it’s medically necessary I don’t feel like I should say no 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Baby boy due next month

As it’s now June, we can say our baby is due next month. Not having an idea of names is really stressing me out - we already have a Brodie so would like something that sounds good together (I quite like the ie/y ending but doesn’t have to be). We’re both teachers in the UK so nothing too common. Some ideas of names we like but aren’t going to use are
1. Corey (was set on this but now found out it’s slang for penis)
2. Casey (love this but I feel like I don’t pronounce my S’s subtly enough, I feel like a snake although others say they don’t notice it, I do)
3. Riley (new child at my partners school)
4. Laurie (short for Lawrence, my favourite name but partner hates. He can’t unhear the vehicle)
5. Rory (my cousin just had a baby boy and named him Rory)
6. Preston (same as Casey with pronouncing the S’s)
7. Deacon (partner “doesn’t hate it but doesn’t love it”
8. Brooklyn (I refer to Brodie as “B” a lot - could be confusing)
9. Bentley (same as Brooklyn, “B” could get confusing)
10. Arlo (we were between Brodie and Arlo for our first born but swayed away from Arlo since. Still like (not love) it but brother in law is adamant we can’t use it as he wants it for when he has children.

Please, please give me suggestions of similar names but that aren’t toooo common in UK (no Ollie, Freddie etc etc)

Postpartum bleeding

Hi guys, I gave birth Friday at 5:58am and my postpartum bleeding is already incredibly light. This is my second baby and I can’t remember how long I bled for with my first to be honest (heavy wise) but I feel like it’s really light really quickly? And I don’t know if that’s normal or anyone else has had the same.
Im still wearing pads etc because bleeding is definitely still there but it’s like a mild period.
