Its supposed to be for 6+ months when they start drinking water to help transition to a sippy cup. My boy hates this teat even still now (he's nearly 16 months) it also really hard to drink from as you have to bite it slightly
Water but my kid hated it too
It's for 6 months plus as a transition of the teat for water or milk at 12 months
