Anyone else's baby suddenly decline bottle intake with BLW. 9 months old and has 8 teeth two more on the way. I've genuinely tried to incorporate it other ways, offer it prior to a meal. Only one at night and for a early morning feed or comfort. He is perfectly hydrated, eats what mom and dad eats. Veggies and all, thriving just grew 3.5 inches..like in my eyes doing beautifully. My peds Dr said to force it or mix it in food. I did and well that upset him, spit it out. So I'm not forcing it, I'm sorry but no one likes anything forced. Just curious 🤨. No we weren't planning on it, he's done it naturally.

My kids have taken weaning very seriously too, took everything I had to keep #1 on formula until 11m, kid even weaned himself off the bottle. It was kinda funny, now, he didn’t want bottles during the day much, but wanted them at night for a while longer, then he didn’t want the bottle after he got ahold of the straw w/that bit of water w/food, so at night for a bit longer he’d want his bottle, get mad I gave him a bottle, so I tried putting his formula in his straw cup & he thought that was the grossest thing ever & decided he was done waking up at night. His ped helped me w/ideas to keep him on formula closer to a year, bc he was gonna be done at 10m if not, so we came up w/little things like mixing his oatmeal & rice cereal w/milk & I also used it for other things like mashed potatoes & kept giving it to him in little cups mixed w/whole milk bc he loved whole milk from a straw & didn’t notice the formula if it wasn’t too strong.
