In the very early days for my first baby, when he was tiny, I used a stretchy wrap all day every day (he wanted to be permanently attached). I lived in it for weeks.
Once he was bigger or if we went outside, I'd use an Artipoppe (got a lovely one on Vinted). It was awesome and I plan to use it for my second. I tried an ergobaby omni and found the H strap style difficult to put on without another person's help. The cross back styles worked better for me personally.
My 2nd choice carrier was a Tula Free to Grow, they have fun colours and patterns and are well reviewed in baby wearing circles. Check out the r/babywearing subreddit if you'd like more suggestions or guidance, it was great for me!

I really recommend seeing if you have a local sling library and try before you buy!
We predominately used a stretchy wrap until our first was around 3 months old. We borrowed a Tula free to grow from a sling library for about a month and then purchased our own as it was comfortable for us!
