So, had my beautiful daughter in august 2024 with third round ivf and previous all failed rounds with letrozole and triggers.
We were going to be trying for number 2 via frozen embryos from same batch as our daughter this year.
But I got pregnant naturally in January/february (first time ever) which was a huge shock and completely out the blue. Unfortunately baby miscarried end of March at 8 weeks but didn’t find out until 10weeks.
Im just wondering what you would do in my situation? Would you try naturally for a couple of months (even though previous history isn’t great on outcomes) or go straight for ivf again? Many thanks

So I think it depends on how many kids you’re going to try for and what you would do with extra embryos. If you would love a big family (if all the remaining embryos took + a “naturally conceived” baby) or are ok letting go of embryos (if you only want 2 kids and you get pregnant unassisted).
What we did: our first retrieval yielded one pgt euploid embryo (our now 4 year old son). Our second retrieval gave us 4 pgt euploid embryos: one miscarriage 11/2023, our now 15 month old daughter, and 2 not transferred yet. My husband had a vasectomy last year because we don’t want to get pregnant unassisted. I can’t imagine donating or destroying our 2 euploid embryos and I don’t want more than 4 kids (never really wanted more than 3 but have started to open to the possibility of 4; yes I know my chances of going 2 for 2 are low). But then again, I’ve never gotten pregnant without assistance (all 3 of my FET were BFP, though one ended in a mc; none of my IUIs or trying for years worked)
