35 weeks & struggling at just 4’11

This is my second full term pregnancy & I don’t remember running out of room so fast with my first. My first was a boy & I had gestational diabetes (managed okay with diet but ended up on insulin at 36 weeks). I am pregnant with a girl this go around with gestational diabetes (very well managed with diet) & an anterior placenta. It’s been a much different experience & one that’s made me decide I’m done having babies. I was so sick in the first trimester, ended up sick again in the middle of my second trimester to the point I had to stay a few hours in the ER getting IV fluids. She was weighing 4lbs 12oz at my 32 weeks ultrasound which my OB said is perfect - 80th percentile, I believe. I’m just so short & there’s NOWHERE for her to go. She kicks me in my ribs while simultaneously head butting my cervix. It’s almost painful when she kicks & I have terrible pelvic girdle pain. I’m stuck sleeping on my back with my pregnancy pillow wrapped around my sides to keep me in position because any other position puts my hips and pelvis in excruciating pain where I can’t even get out of bed without assistance. Anyway, I really just wanted to vent on here to fellow moms because my own mom and husband are probably tired of hearing about it. It’s been like this since 17ish weeks. 🥴

Omg 😭😭😭
I have no advice but sympathizing with you. That’s so tough 😭

I just had my baby and was also caring a girl. I also decided this is most likely my last pregnancy because I was sick for most of the pregnancy
Maybe you could create a group on peanut for shorter moms since they would understand more 🩷

Have you ever looked into pelvic floor therapy? It would help a lot with the pain and discomfort

Ugh I get it. I’m 5ft. My first son was 10lbs 6oz I think because of undiagnosed GD so I was carrying. HUGE my goodness. And then with my second I did not have GD but my daughter was still bigger than average at 8lbs 3oz. Thank you husband for being a big baby. But I carried huge with her too. This time I pregnant again and I already started showing at like 10 ish weeks or earlier. I don’t even know what I’m gonna do if I get even bigger than the others. I have a short torso to so everything goes out

I feel your pain girl, I’m only 5’1 and carry all of my babies REALLY low so it’s like this giant heavy bowling ball falling off of my body. When you’re this small it’s just like “how can I possibly get any bigger????” I looked huge with both my boys even though they were only 6lbs and 8lbs. I look pretty big this time too but maybe a tad smaller I’m hoping baby girl is closer to 6lbs than 8 😭

5 foot and my first and second trimesters hurt worse than the third now it's just uncomfortable but not pain. I think my baby has gotten used to the small space and isn't stretching the limits on it anymore-my body caught up with his size or something. I feel you, this pregnancy was by far my most challenging as far as comfort and placement, I didn't have discomfort with my first or second

Baby turning head down.

Hey ladies! 👋 Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation. Has anyone's baby turned head down around 36 weeks? I'm there now and baby still hasn't flipped yet, so just feeling a little bit anxious about it. Would love to hear your experiences! 💛

3/5 engaged( second baby)

Hiyah, I’m just wondering if this is a good sign that labor may come early, I’m 34 weeks pregnant, with my first I wasn’t engaged until 38 weeks. Any similar experience.

Pillow for babies

Hi mums

What do you all think of pillows for babies ?
My mum and SIL are talking about babies pillows , there are these pillows with a hole in the middle for the babies .
The argument is that the baby need it to form his head in a nice shape.
My baby is a c section Sophia head looks good.
I have tried the pillow few times and in my opinion the any dos not look comfortable with it. He does not fuss about it either.

Wondfo tests bad indents

Are these tests bad for indents?
I read the reviews and was good but not sure if I’m seeing a line or just a bad indent on my tests.
