Which one has the better rating for education?
Personally I don’t care if it’s my “kind of people”, I just care that it’s going to be a safe place with amazing education.

Which one has smaller class sizes? This is important as the more children in the class, the more your child will be overlooked.

I would say smaller due to the attention your child will get educationally but what do you mean by your kind of people? Are one group more snobby and the other more laid back? I’m curious. lol

Honestly go for the school which you got a better feeling off when you visited.
My son's in year 1 now, we ended up moving him a year ago to a different school. Mostly because we moved areas (20 minutes drive away), but also because his original school was going downhill quickly. When we applied for his reception place we'd just moved to the area, and just went with the schools that were closest and had a good rating. I so wish we'd been able to have a proper look around, they only time they would allow us was after school.
When we moved him, we met with the head and looked around the school when lessons were going on so we actually got to see how the school operated. We got such a better feeling ofd his new school. He's been there a year now, and absolutely thriving. It's been such a good choice for him.
For reference his new school has 2 classes of 25-30 for every year group, his original school only had 20 students in a year. Smaller doesn't necessarily mean better

The larger school may have more facilities and therefore more opportunities and experiences for your child.
The smaller school could be more nurturing but you'd have to see what each school does and has to offer.
I'd go with your gut xx

I voted small cause my eldest would only be in elementary rn but if it was middle or high I’d prolly go big

It's reassuring that both schools have lovely staff. I think it comes down to which environment will help your child thrive day to day, and whether the extra opportunities at the larger school outweigh the benefits of the calmer setting.
I look back at my time in school and it's all the extra curricular activities that I remember and have fond memories of and helped develop my confidence and social skills.
Your child could attend the smaller school and perhaps you could seek extra activities outside of school hours enabling them to have the opportunities that the smaller school doesn't currently cater for xx
