Just here to complain/ find company in misery.

34 weeks with previa placenta. Ive already had a bad episode of blood clot bleeding with chunks in the toilet 2 weeks ago which they said was “fine and normal” when I went to the hospital… But since then, I’ve had the worst swollen feet/ numb hands/ yesterday my face was so swollen I couldn’t open my eyes for 2 hours. They haven’t ever diagnosed me with preeclampsia because my BP has always been average. But we got a BP cuff today & measured my boyfriends for baseline & mine was 174/103. Called my doc who’s always been annoyingly chill about everything & he said to take a Tylenol and if it’s still elevated to go in to hospital (an hour away). Anyone else in a similar boat? I’m anxious :/ previa + preeclampsia is hella high risk.

I’m 36 weeks and I’ve been feeling shocked ill recently and I’ve been told that it could be a sign of my body getting ready for labor but I’m unsure if anyone who’s had a similar experience at all could give me some advice that would be great

Need advice from moms who had preeclampsia 🥺

I’m currently about 5 months pregnant and I’m honestly really scared. I had preeclampsia with both of my previous pregnancies, and I still haven’t booked a prenatal appt for this pregnancy yet. I know I need to call and make one ASAP, but I’ve been putting it off and now I’m worried.

Has anyone else gone this long without seeing a dr or booking prenatal care and still gone on to have a healthy pregnancy and delivery?

For those who had preeclampsia before, did u get it again in another pregnancy? What did ur drs do to help lower the risks?

I’m terrified of something happening to me during pregnancy or childbirth and would really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s been thru something similar. Plz no judgment, I’m alrdy beating myself up for waiting this long 💜

How to survive the first trimester

Hi everyone,

I’m pregnant (only 7 weeks but feeling it big time) and I work in a hospital. My job is quite physically and mentally demanding. I have a toddler at home with very limited support network.

Everyday, I feel extremely exhausted. And it’s killed my appetite as every time I think of food, I feel nauseous. Even when I’m not thinking about food, I’m nauseous. I haven’t thrown up so far but I feel sick all the time.

How did people survive their first trimester? I’m thinking of taking annual leave but I don’t have much left. I can’t call in sick because I feel like my employer will just fire me.
