Concerned ..

My 9 month old is still not crawling 🙃 I’m getting worried . She doesn’t seem interested . Cries in tummy time after a few mins . Barely rolls either way unless it’s accidental . Very good at sitting up and pincer grip and always babbling and copying things back and forth . Recognises name and cats name etc . Is there something I should do ? Is she delayed . Any one else ?

She'll get there. Some babies never roll/crawl. My LG went from army crawling to now proper crawling pulling to stand and trying to get on her feet in last 2weeks. She didn't roll till 6.5mnths.
My eldest has major speach delays so I'm super anxious this time so do understand how you feel x

Nah she’s fine. My LG didn’t roll until nearly 9 months but then crawled at 9 and a half. She was behind for most things at her one year check (including gross motor, communication, problem solving etc) but at 20 months she is on track or ahead of where she should be for everything.
She is still rubbish at rolling though, think it’s because she has a big tummy 😆. Loves her food 😋.
So yeah I’m sure your little girl will be fine and not crawling at 9 months isn’t considered behind anyway 🙂

My girl (13 months now) only started crawling at 11 months literally a week or two before she turned one and I was super anxious because she just didn’t seem to want to move 😅 now she’s crawling all over the house! Please don’t be worried every baby goes at their own pace and like said above some babies miss the crawling stage also!

So fed up

Baby only contact naps in a dark room. I'm so over it.

Why can't it be one or the other.
Nap in the dark OR contact nap.
Its not right, it's not healthy.

He's nearly 4 months and I've tried a few times to get him out if this habit but it never sticks!

I don't want this anymore. I dread EVERY nap. I love him and love being a mum during wake windows but when nap time rolls around I find myself regretting being a mum and I feel terrible for it, but I can't do this anymore hours on end in the dark every day for months on end. 😭😭😭

Second hand baby stuff

I am curious what everyone thinks on second hand baby stuff like, car seat, push chair, cot etc. babies grow very fast, they grow out many things in just few months and kinda feel like it is a waste of money and not good for the environment. And also think as first time mum he/she is going to be my only child so I should get whatever is the best. On a dilemma 🤷‍♀️

How much do I actually need to buy?

First time mum, due in September and trying to not over spend. What is everyone’s opinions on how much you actually need to buy. I’m thinking along the lines of baby grows, how many will I actually need? And any other items which you’ve found you end up buying more of for no reason.
Thank you!!

I think we might have hit it. How is everyone else surviving!? Is it too early to sleep train!?

Nap times

Anyone mastered nap times for their baby?
Mine constantly fights sleep and I am trying to work out a schedule/routine to make it a bit easier on all of us. Please share yours.

Sterilising

Are we still sterilising our bottles? I know they say to sterilise until they’re off formula because of the bacteria and all that but I put formula in his porridge and don’t sterilise the bowl and he’s fine? So surely I can stop? 🤞🏼
It’s becoming a real ball-ache of a chore that I dread doing after he’s gone to bed!
