How often should you change diapers for a 12 month old after bedtime?

If they poop, right away. If it’s just pee I always left it. The diapers are really good these days and my girlie never had rash.

I always change him before bed and then right when he gets up. My little guy sleeps through the night and no reason to wake up the whole house just to change a diaper. I use the nighttime diapers all day long anyway. They are really absorbent so he is dry when he goes to the bathroom. 😅 He is showing signs of potty training though so I may need to change to pull ups.

Nap times

Anyone mastered nap times for their baby?
Mine constantly fights sleep and I am trying to work out a schedule/routine to make it a bit easier on all of us. Please share yours.

Sterilising

Are we still sterilising our bottles? I know they say to sterilise until they’re off formula because of the bacteria and all that but I put formula in his porridge and don’t sterilise the bowl and he’s fine? So surely I can stop? 🤞🏼
It’s becoming a real ball-ache of a chore that I dread doing after he’s gone to bed!

Hitting other kids

Hi all, my boy is 28 months and recently we noticed he's started hitting/pushing other children. He only seems to do this at his regular playgroup, whenever other kids get close to the toys he's playing with. My boy gets very possesive over toys.

He goes to nursery and we've not been told he does this there! He's generally very happy and is thriving.

When it happens, i tell him to be kind, we share our toys etc and repeat this.

Any good tips from mum's who are/have experienced this? TIA

What is a “pop”? Is it people’s gentle way of saying a smack?

Seen this used on here a few times this week saying they “pop” their child if they’ve done something wrong. Are we just trying to sugarcoat hitting here? I don’t think calling it a pop makes it any better🥴

2 Year Development Check

We just got our notification to make an appointment for the 2 year NHS check. I looked through the questionnaire online and my two year old seems to be fine for all the milestones. According to home measurements they are on 75th percentile for height, I always have a slight worry about weight as he's always been slim so I always get worried about that one but apparently will be fine if they stay around their weight percentile and though I haven't weighed them recently they have maintained a similar build. Has anyone else had contact about the 2 year check yet and any worries or advice?
