Post C-section support
My mum lives abroad and to be honest we have a bit of a toxic relationship so I would prefer she was not there for the birth. I have a sister who lives local but she's not the most reliable of people. My husband's family are also all abroad.
Does everyone feel like they need tonnes of support post c-section beyond just their husband or partner. My husband has two weeks off for paternity we have a housekeeper so he doesn't need to worry about general chores and the state of the house.
He will need to cook and of course look after me and the baby.
Do we need more support or does everybody typically cope fine ?

I only had my partner after my emergency c section and we coped fine but it depends on yourself and your husband to how much support you will need.
I had my mum and partner, in hindsight we would have been ok with just my partner but I think taking care of the food is almost a job on its own! Maybe do some freezer meals or order a meal service or something to help take the load off?
