Today I got frustrated at my toddler for trying to take his clothes off while I was putting them on and I just said “ stop doing that” in a frustrated tone, I did not yell or raise my voice or cuss. But my S/O thinks im a terrible mother for talking to him like that and that I so wrong for that. And just made it a big deal. Is that true ? Is he valid ?

Absolutely! Most days and I have shouted at my daughter and then apologised. We are only human.

There isn't a parent in the world that hasn't got frustrated at some point. Its really hard raiding these little people. Be easy on yourself and don't give it a second thought x

A terrible mom for saying stop doing that?! 🤣 is he serious?

Your partner is a wet wipe. I've raised my voice a few times this week with my almost 5 year old this week, (we've had a tough week) don't pussy foot around your kids or they'll be spoiled little brats.
One thing I always do afterwards is give her cuddles and apologise for raising my voice and explain why I raised my voice, but it happens

Things that cross the line are swearing, name calling and laying hands on your child.
You did nothing wrong.
