Hello!

Hi! New to Peanut and just wanted to introduce myself in hopes to connect with other moms on similar walks of life! I'm a mom to a 10 year old autistic son. He received his diagnosis at 2 and a half, but started therapy when he was 10 months old, so we have been on this autism journey for quite a while! He is still in speech therapy (twice a week) and ABA therapy (4 hours, 5 days a week), and graduated from OT and Feeding Therapy. He is very academically gifted but delayed daily life skills and has a moderate speech impediment. Turns out he and I have a lot in common, as I received my own autism diagnosis about a year ago. I love advocating and helping other moms who are just starting their journey with advice and resources! So whether you're like us and have been on this ride for a while or just getting started, I'd love to chat!
