When should I tell him?
Before me and my baby’s father broke up, we kind of decided on a name but I didn’t fully agree to it at the time.
Now that we’re not together, I’m still trying to figure out the name situation. He wanted my son to have a name of Hassan and then his middle and last name but I know it’s not fair because i want my son to have a tie to me.
What I want to tell him is that I’ll keep the Hassan name for his middle name and I wanted to pick out the first name and he has my last name.
What should I do?

I will say if he’s going to be active in the child’s life I do think he deserves a say in the name too. Do perhaps you could come up with ideas together.
The name Hassan makes me feel dad may be Muslim? Correct me if I’m wrong. But if he is it’s a religious requirement to have the child have the father’s last name so he may feel strongly about that! 💗
