Did you labor medicated or natural ?

If multiple labors (one medicated, one natural), was there a preference ? Would you do anything differently for the next ?

I did both and although the medicated labouring was easier, the birth was not and had more complications.

My unmedicated labouring was obviously way more intense and the pain was astronomical but overall I preferred that experience purely because it went more smoothly than my medicated birth and there were no complications.

Whether or not the medication interfered or had anything to do with my experience being worse the first time I have no idea.

I'm not having any more children but if I did I'd go unmedicated again.

Both. My first 3 were medicated. My last 3 were born at home

I labored 36 hours unmedicated when I said enough and got the epidural it was time to deliver instantly after getting it put in. Pushed for 10 minutes on the epidural and baby was out of me! Who knows how much longer I would have labored for if I didn’t get the epidural, it make my bodies relax and cervix open

Hospitals

I am currently pregnant and have not had any scans or tests done (5 months) my midwife has sent out a referral for Birmingham women’s but they haven’t gotten back. I had my first child at heartlands and did not have a good experience therefore I do not want to go back there. Can anyone recommend a good hospital but not too far from Birmingham city centre.

Partner and baby moving

Just wondering if anyone else’s partner is like this.
Every time I say the baby is moving and want him to look or feel he’s so distant. He says he just doesn’t understand the fascination, as it’s not in him.

He’s been amazing in terms of how he sees his job as caring for me. Which he does, but he doesn’t seem as phased as I am about baby moving. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Am I reading into this too much? I’m almost 25 weeks.

20 week scan measuring smaller

Just had our 20 week scan and have been told the baby is measuring smaller than my dates have provided. All other anatomy is all good but just this one little thing has me panicking. Has anyone else had something similar?

Does anyone feel the same 😂

I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant, I should be happy and excited but all I want to do is sleep and be on my Own. I'm not in any discomfort I just want to be alone looool.

Please say this is normal as I feel slightly depressed 😂.
