Baby hates the car!! Cries non stop

Please, can anyone offer some advice? My son is almost 5mo. As soon as we put him in the car all hell breaks loose. He screams so loud and won’t stop. 30 min,40 min doesn’t matter. He doesn’t get tired. I’m sitting right next to him, I talk to him calmly, I hold his hand, I play songs, I have toys - nothing calms him down. It’s not the car seat because I use it on a stroller and he doesn’t mind. Will it pass? Will getting a convertible car seat help? Any suggestions? We can’t live like this. I stopped leaving the house for a month 😭

my son only started not screaming in the car at around 11 months 🥲 it was so stressful

We put a portable sound machine on the handle part and he likes that

Try spinning toys on the mirror

Our baby was the same way and we got him the chicco fit 360 convertible car seat and it slowly started getting better over the weeks. Now we put him in and unless it’s because he’s actually hungry or needs a diaper change he just falls asleep once we put him in!

We also got him a security blanket that he likes to cuddle with once we put him in and a rattle toy that he’ll sometimes play with until he dozes off

We go out and about a lot so I think also frequent exposure helped him get to used to it! And sometimes “the Happy Song” by Imogen Heap would make him stop crying (:

When is too early for my ex partner to have my daughter overnight

Me and my ex broke up three weeks ago and he’s already asking to have her overnight. She is 8 months formula fed and semi co-sleeping

Since birth she has been very much dependent on me and breast fed for the first 3 months
Any advice?

Ms. Rachel / Screentime

Moms, be honest has Ms. Rachel actually helped your baby?
Did you notice new words, signs, better communication, or anything else you could directly attribute to her? Or is she just a lifesaver when you need 20 minutes to get something done? 😂
I'd love to hear real experiences and how old your little one was when they started watching. 🤍

Hi Girls

When should I start putting my baby down to nap, atm i'm still contact napping every nap in the carrier because he either wakes as soon as I put him down or if he does stay asleep he only sleeps 30 mins or less, hes nearly 7 months, im actually completely fine contact napping but im feeling v bad about it as if im doing something wrong and I should be teaching him now 🤔

If your answer is keep contact napping then when long term should I stop? Hes going to Nursery at 9 months old

Hmm

Since giving birth me and my partner haven’t been very intimate and it’s starting to feel like a marriage of convenience at times. I’ve been complimented a lot of by other women. Don’t get me wrong I’m straight but women are beautiful and I’m starting to have second thoughts what it would be like to be intimate with another woman.

Am I too late ?

Hey ladies,

I’m nervous that I may have bit myself in the behind ! I’m 12 weeks and 5 days postpartum and I am trying relactate with pumping. I had a weird journey with latching and everything and after about 3-4 weeks of trying I ultimately gave up with latching. With pumping it was just so uncomfortable and painful at the time that I didn’t consistently do it. I was pumping max about 3-4 times a day spontaneously.

As stated above, Im 12+4 weeks postpartum and I am trying to build my supply or even make enough for her to have a few bottles per day/week. Any tips and tricks to building supply? I’m trying to get more calorie intake, also changed flanges so I now have my correct size and it is as comfortable as it should be to pump. I’ve been incorporating at least 2 power pump session a day ( 1 session is 60 minutes, the next is 40). I’m also trying to consistently pump more, yesterday I tracked 7 pumping sessions (which is way more than I’ve ever done in a day). I have the Eufy S1 pros, Hygeia Fit Pro, and the Lansinoh Signature Pro pumps. Lastly, I’ve been doing a MOTN pump. I am getting less than 1-2oz per pump.
