Pregnancy Hunger

Last time around I really struggled eating, everything made me feel nauseous and I could barely keep anything time. This time? Ravenous. I get nauseous if I don’t eat, and I’m snacking constantly. Has anyone else experienced this? Like a lot of women I don’t have the healthiest relationship with my weight so eating all the time is really getting to me, I’m gaining a lot of weight very quickly like I can see it round my hips and my upper arms, but I have to be able to work long days so eating seems a small price to pay to do that. Argh! Any advice for how to deal with all this is greatly appreciated

How many weeks are you currently? I can definitely relate to this for my first trimester! The hunger was ridiculous, and very physical similar to yours in that if I didn’t eat for an hour or so I felt physically sick/faint

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and constantly feel like I'm starved. I don't usually snack but I have to now. Also crying over food 🤣 crying because I'm hungry and then crying because I feel full.

Also just to add, it could help to up your protein if you think you might not be getting enough. NHS guidance is so lacking around nutrition but I found following other researched guidance of 1.25g/kg (soon to be 1.5/kg in third tri) helped a little with feeling fuller!
