Induction? I’m so confused!😩
I had a midwife appointment at today at 9:30. I’m 39 weeks and 6 days pregnant. So my due date is tomorrow which is 13th June.
My midwife said that she’ll book me in for induction if the baby doesn’t come when he’s supposed to come.
She said she’ll email them and I’ll get a letter for the day. I get a NHS letter that says “Midwife episode appointment has been arranged for the 14th June Sunday at 8:00am”
“You’ll be under the care of team led by…..”
I’m so confused so am I being admitted if I don’t give birth by then?
Please someone explain🤍

Yes by sounds of it, if baby doesn’t come you will need to go to your hospital for 8am for induction on the 14th
Did you ask for an induction?
Because you absolutely do not have to if you don’t want one.
