Potty Trainning

They usually start showing signs first. For example; a few weeks ago, mine started pulling her trousers down and sitting on the potty (in her nappy). When they're ready, you'll know. There's little to no point in trying before they're ready, it won't work

I got a potty out before he was ready so it was a familiar thing. He'd always go to the loo between dinner and bathtime so we made a habit of sitting him on it. He then would sometimes ask to go on it and do something or nothing. But always casual. Then when we felt he was ready we got training pants and went for it

When he was 8 months old, just after naps and before bath.
He got used to it quickly but I hold the potty between my legs and that's how he sits on it. It's a small potty for elimination communication!
Hopefully that will help when he is old enough to properly train him.
