If your toddler is walking confidently, are they still in pre-walkers or proper hard soled shoes? Mine has been walking for about 12 weeks and walks out of the pram quite a lot so I have got him some first walker clarks trainers and also some next hard soled canvas shoes etc. I met up with a mum friend today and her daughter has been walking a few weeks longer than my son but she’s still in pre walkers so I’m worried I’ve done the wrong thing. I didn’t think pre-walkers would offer much support now they’re confidently walking outdoors.

My LO is in proper shoes from Clarks. They do a "walking" range that are still wide fit and flexible to support gait and balance but offer a touch more stability. She also has another pair of shoes not from Clarks but are still that "barefoot" style of trainer which are great and a little less expensive than Clarks 🙂 My issue with her us she has massive feet 🤣 She's a size 7 now!!! But has always been 97th percentile so... 🤷♀️ ill also say that she's been walking from 10 months so is a well established walker now
