I picked my son up from nursery yesterday and they said he might have HFM. You can barely see the spots on his foot and the one on his lip disappeard over night but has come back this afternoon. I've looked on NHS and it looks nothing like the picture they have. He had a fever over a week ago and went off his food for 24hrs but after that he's been absolutely fine. I will take him to pharmacy tomorrow to check, if his feet still have a couple of spots but I feel I'm waiting their time. There's nothing on his hands. He has got a couple of pimple type spots on his bum too

My daughter had HFM and they did not disappear over night, apart from when we had been prescribed cream and they did not look like this.
I would personally see how he gets on, and if more appear and they don’t get better get medical advice.
But then I’m also not a dr and it could be different for every child! X

We got prescribed Dermol500 lotion from the doctors and it’s cleared it up between 24-48 hours. You can but it online but it can be used either as a cream to rub in, put in the bath (no bubble bath) or used as a body wash. Try to avoid any bubble bath, shower/bath wash and creams for the next day to see what happens.
Hope he gets better soon. X
