issues with irritation

anyone else have issues with getting rashes on their healed scar i have a lil but of an overlap cos im a size 14 and i have to put sudocrem on it sometimes, is this forever now? cos the irritation is so uncomfortable sometimes and painful, tips and honesty please girlies

I swear by using talcum powder, its the skin touching each other and sweating. The talc stops it, im an 18/20 and it doesnt tend to happen anymore now I use talc, especially on warmer days xx

No problem, obviously shower/bath, thoroughly dry yourself and then pop the talc on, changed my life lol xx

So yes this will be a forever thing if the skin touches each other. If it gets red/ weepy and you don’t have a shower - a water wipe over the top of it a few times helps clear it up. Talc is fine but look into calendula powder instead. Talc is carcinogenic, calendula has healing properties so if you’re using one or the other - choose calendula :)
