Does tummy time have to be on the floor? My 3 month old isn’t really interested in it on the floor or gets really frustrated and I end up picking him up with fear of him hurting himself. When we pick him up, he sits in our arms like a much older baby, straight and chest to chest with myself or my partner lifting his head, looking around. When he sits he is up straight looking around, laughing and smiling but isn’t interested in being on the floor.
He also isn’t trying to roll over anymore, he was trying but this has stopped around 2/3 weeks ago.
Is this normal for either of these?

Don’t know if it’s normal but my baby is the exact same and is 14 weeks old x

my daughter is the same as this & she loves doing tummy time on her dads chest , or if you prop them up onto a pillow so they aren’t flat on the floor, my daughter rolled once and hasn’t been bothered to do it since x x
