Same, I'll try to send hints but he always get things that I like but dont need at all😆 I like sailor moon so he got me a sailor moon pj's but I have like 10 pj's lol and it's so hot im not wearing any around this time 😅, I wanted games for my switch lol but i still appreciate his effort haha

Maybe we’re just different in my family, but we do fav food, fav cake & then a gift for birthdays around here. Nothing over the top, our kids usually ask for ice cream cakes & their fav meal I make, hubs is the same but wants a homemade cake too, then they know I want a cookie cake & either Italian or Chinese food usually, but my hubs has swung by & grabbed a few sushi rolls to go with the meal I chose just bc he knows I don’t order it often. The sushi wouldn’t have been the gift, the sushi would’ve just been dinner, we have dinner every night, so I’d still be thinking the gifts(bc I get something from hubs & both kids) would come out after blowing out the candles on my cake. Are you sure the sushi is the gift, seems like such an odd gift, then again one year I actually asked my parents for a pack of Oreo cookies that I didn’t have to share w/my brothers😂, they ate them too fast & I never got any, they obliged, but got me something else too, even though I didn’t ask for anything else.
