Autism referral

Hiya yes my boy born 23rd has limited speech can say maybe 5/6 of the words on the list out of the 50 and I already went to a speech and language walk in at my local family Hub and they wanted to refer him to pediatrician but I also had his review on Friday just gone, and they are referring him to the community health first before further. Referral as he was in the black for speech and grey for social. I'm not sure what to expect either really but I know it's a long wait! I work in a preschool as well so I was kinda expecting this I've seen the signs. But feel free to message me if you need someone to talk to xx

It is a bit yeah and I was the same after the review I wanted to cry but I thought it's not going to change him we just need the support to help him thrive. Does your little one go to nursery or preschool or anything? As I'm getting communication boards to use with him but you can also get these from seeing the speech and language therapist if you look at your local family hub they may have what's called walk in talkins you can go to and see someone there without an appointment.
