Any tips? I gained 70lb with my pregnancy. I’ve lost 25 since having the baby, that was six weeks ago. I know you have to eat to maintain supply, and previously I ate mostly low carb for years because my body seemed to function better that way, less inflammation and overall I felt amazing. Would love any tips !

You can safely stay in a mild calorie deficit while breastfeeding without losing supply and then losing weight gradually, that’s what I did without really trying. I would just eat normally, good nourishing meals with protein and healthy fats and hydrate like crazy.

Hi! Coming from a wife of a personal trainer best tips I got is
1.core restoration for postpartum (especially if there was a c-section)
Brittanyperilleee on instagram is amazing and transparent
2. Calories deficit
3.walking
4.strength training

I’m in the exact same boat as you! I find that staying extremely hydrated and eating lots of low calorie high protein foods help keep my supply up while I’m trying to lose some weight. I love to snack on french yogurt and jerky - but with meals try and keep an eye on macros :) make sure you’re eating the rainbow - usually ends up being less calories and way more fulfilling

Protein higher and Vegetables helped me a lot with the breastfeeding hunger. Like all the green juices without fruits in it, so your insulin doesn’t spike.
Light walking, light weight training if is something you used to do. Pelvic floor terapist has helped me
Sleeping and resting enough
And waiting (heavy on this one but with doing the rest too) for your hormones to adjust
Breastfeeding helps for some, for me it didn’t so I wait to wean her off until 8 months and half and just now I’m able to loose some more. Hope it helps
