Water stuck in dummy

Hi just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to get water out of the dummy teat? I sterilised in boiling water and when I took them out the teats all have water in them. One is a tommee tippee, another is a mam and another is a Tesco one if that makes any difference. Thanks!

I have tommee tippe. Just squeezing the teeth gets water out of mine

I’ve had this!! I’ve shaken the dummies in the sink so the water has somewhere to go, also squeezed the teat in various positions, etc. the water does come out eventually!

SLEEP WHEN BABY SLEEPS.. or not 🤷🏽‍♀️

So my sister sent me this picture today and I found it quite funny because this literally sums up my life lately! I have been sooooo tired because I was not following the “sleep when baby sleeps” rule and I realised I was not doing myself any favours so I now take that rule very seriously and make sure I get some sleep at every given opportunity!

Have you been sleeping when baby sleeps or are you doing everything BUT sleeping?

Don’t worry this photo was taken at my parents house with everyone present so baby girl was more than safe sleeping on me before the parenting police try and come for me🙃

Feeling like an idiot

I’m about to give birth soon and I just found out who my husband really is. He’s been off the entire pregnancy and has gotten more aggressive and angry over time to the point any time he raises his voice I unconsciously flinch. I’ve been told over and over again that I’m delusional, I’m making things up, and I don’t know what I’m talking about. For years I’ve stood there going to his family outings while everyone just smiled in my face and talked about me behind my back…WITH my husband. He’s stood up for them every single time and yelled at me multiple times bc he claimed to not understand why I didn’t enjoy being around them all the time. He legit hates my mom who I’ve been open about sharing things with and when she sticks up for me against him letting him know his babies are due soon so he should start staying close to home…he just completely blew up. I’m not scared of him but scared that he might show me there’s even more to this side and…I just don’t know what to do. I haven’t cried about it yet. I’m honestly still in shock bc I already knew something was off about him since we got married but I let him convince me otherwise bc I didn’t want any of it to be true. I’m doing my best not to just shut down emotionally bc I need those to take care of my little ones but I have nowhere to go and no finances to my name…I feel so stuck.

TODDLER BEHAVIOUR

Hi moms,

My 14-month-old has always been extremely active. Since he was around 8 months old, he's constantly on the move and rarely sits still for long. He's happy, curious, and loves exploring, but sometimes I wonder if this level of activity is typical for his age.

Did anyone else have a toddler like this? How are they doing now?
I'd love to hear your experiences. 😊

Need advice ASAP!

Hello, little backstory before I go into this post. My son when he was born could NOT latch, didn’t want to, bit me, cried, the works. He just wouldn’t latch. I surrendered ended up just exclusively pumping and giving via bottle. Well.. that’s changed weirdly enough. He’s two months now and I tried again randomly and boom he latches! However I don’t want him to gain a preference and not take bottles anymore, this would make it hard on all of us including when dad takes him on his shifts. What do I do? Do I make a mix up schedule where I do bottle and boob or? I’ll take all advice thanks!

Sleep regression

My baby girl has hit the 4 month sleep regression and is waking every 1-2 hours all through the night, this has been going on for a couple of weeks now. She is also refusing to sleep in her Snuzpod since the regression started. She has always preferred to co sleep, but would previously go the majority of the night in the snuzpod. Is anyone else experiencing the need for contact along side the regression? And how long does this last, the exhaustion is hitting me hard.

Newborn Nights

What does your night look like with a newborn at the moment?
Mine often won’t settle in the Moses so myself and my husband are up in the living room doing shifts.
Ideally would like to get both of us back in the bedroom and bubs in the next to me/moses.
Any tips welcome! Formula fed baby drinking every 2.5hrs around 60/100ml over an hour feed (one week old).
