Men on maternity ward

Has anyone been told that they can have their birth partner stay overnight with them in the hospital?

When I had my other babies it wasn't allowed. Dad's came as you went up to delivery and were only allowed to stay until 11 etc.

I don't feel comfortable labouring (I'm being induced) with men roaming about. Like legit in their pj's strolling around the ward using the patient toilets etc.

What's your opinions/experience?

I don’t like the idea personally. But this time (I’m at a different hospital) and you can have overnight partner.. mines my friend though.. so not male lol
