I’m 20 weeks and my boobs have started leaking and when I say leaking I don’t just mean a little bit I mean enough to wet through a T-shirt and bra, it’s a clearish goldish colour and I’m wondering if I should be talking to my midwife about this? It’s extremely sticky and I’m thinking maybe it’s colostrum but don’t want to start collecting it as I heard it can induce labour. Any advice !

If it’s so much through your clothes I’d email them just to be on the safe side, but honestly many of us do leak.
I do leave through clothes if I don’t have a bra on since 16 weeks, while my mother told me she’d leak as much as you’re describing in both her pregnancies and me and my sister were born term and healthy.

I would get in touch with your midwife or your maternity unit, I’m pretty sure it’s can start early but don’t start collecting unless your midwife says it’s okay

Use the in bra collectors to collect it but don’t squeeze it it out manually - speaking to your midwife is always a great place to start and they should say the same thing.

You can collect it in shells, they just sit in your bra and literally just collect what is naturally leaking out. You don't want to hand express or pump though, that's what risks bringing on labour xx
