Egg allergic reaction!

Anyone else had a mild reaction to egg!? What did you do!? I gave my baby the tiniest bit and straight away he came up in hives round his mouth. I’ve requested a GP appt but just wondering what the process is now!? Obviously avoiding egg in the mean time…!

Both my kids have an egg allergy. For my boy (2 yrs 8 months) he was classed as moderate to severe as he came out in hives and projectile vomiting and he has eczema. We had to wait 6 months and then start the egg allergy ladder and if he had a reaction wait 6 months and try again. He can now eat a very well cooked egg.

My 7 month old comes out with hives all over her body to omelette. I'm going to try the bottom of the ladder with her (baked in flour) this weekend and see if she reacts. My boy could always eat "baked in" but we kept getting pushed back for silly things. Watch out for cute decorated biscuits as they contain egg white in the icing!
