I had a membrane sweep yesterday (39 weeks) and was 1cm with baby head down and well in the pelvis (unsure percentage) - just wondering if anyone has had one done with being 1cm and it successfully working? How long did it take after you had it to go into labour and did you do anything to progress it more!
TIA from one 39 week mamma who is so ready to be in labour! Xxx 🩷🩷

Hey! I had a sweep at 40 weeks and was 1cm dilated, I lost my mucus plug that night and then nothing happened for a week. I did curb walking twice a day, stretches, bouncing on ball, and nothing! Then the night before I was due to have another sweep at 41 weeks (and then an induction the following day) my waters broke and had baby boy at exactly 41 weeks. Some people swear by sweeps, some people don't, ultimately I think baby comes when baby wants! Best of luck!

It worked very well for me I was in labor that same night. Did they say rather your cervix was soft because that’s really what speeds up dilation

Walking helps a lot too and I knew someone who tried running to go into labor and it worked the day of
