This happened to me with my second. It was awful. I ended up needing to get prescription strength stuff and a lot of new cotton underwear.

I used to be a medical assistant and work in an urgent care so we saw this a lot. I heard from a few doctors that if you keep getting them - it could actually be your partner that keeps giving it to you as the yeast also can live on them. So I would recommend both you AND your partner get treated. Not sure about the UTIs however other than always pee after sex. Maybe try a vaginal probiotic?

Are you 17 weeks postpartum or 17 week pregnant?

I seen in the comments you said you refrained from sex. It can also actually be from the baby causing imbalances.

I experienced this in my second trimester and actually accused my man at one point 😭 but he got tested and didn’t have anything.

I was given this pill by the doctor that’s only safe AFTER first trimester, one time dose that clears up the infections. I don’t know the name, but you can ask your doctor about medications. Drinking cranberry juice is also good for at home cleansing of the vagina. Good luck girl!
