I've been seeing these types of diaper bags that expand out to become a makeshift bassinet for the baby. Has anyone tried one? Is it worth it?

I bought one last baby and was gifted one this time. It's great for storage reasons even if it's bulky but my babies are huge so they never fit in it in a meaningful way, nevermind if you get something threaded through incorrectly and the arch collapses the sides and your baby is getting crunched in on a side ಠ◡ಠ I use it for the outings and insulated pockets but I'd be surprised if it works out for napping in. Was always easier to contact nap and baby wear when out.

I bought one for my ex best friend and honestly it is more of a hassle than anything.

I use it more as a changing station since he’s in my arms most of the time but feel that if we were at the airport to stuck somewhere it would be even better.

I have that diaper bag and we only have used it once so far for my 4 month old. It was at the beach in a cabana. It was nice, but we usually end up putting him in the stroller or car seat to sleep if we're out so it rarely gets used. And my 3 year old loves to unzip the part where it is stored while I'm not paying attention so when I put the backpack on everything falls out and it's a pain to zip back up so I'd agree with that one woman who said it's more of a hassle. It's one of those things where if you don't have it, you'll run into plenty of scenarios where you'd want to use it, but if you do have it you'll never use it lol. At least in my opinion.

I actually got 2 for my baby shower. I use it as a changing station for places that dont have them its excellent for that and it has a ton of pockets and some insulated ones.
