Usually can be around 6 months and tends to be dada

My son was about 7 months and it was mama.
My daughter turned 1 on the tenth and said her first word 2 days later, Daddy.

6 months, and she stopped napping for almost 3 weeks to say Momma. Said it maybe 5 times and stopped talking, lol. Woke up the next morning like nothing happened. Starting saying Dada ALL the time until around 8 months when she would call for me if she was really upset, tired, hungry, or whatever other strong feeling. She'll be 9 months next week.

About 5m, she said rabbit 😂

My son was late, I think around 15m. Don't quite remember exactly what the first was but two of the first few were socks and clock pronounced without the l 🤣

Around 10 months and was mama

Anything other than mama and dada. Was about 15 months. She only actually says baby and bubble.

9 months old and she said mama, about 3 weeks later we got dada

My little one's first words emerge around 6-7 months. His first word was, Hi 👋🏾, 🤗. He started saying it after we would tell him to say "Hi" when meeting someone new lol

Rockit

Does anyone recommend a rockit or a similar brand? Are they worth it? Does it make a difference to your LOs naps?

Bought these whilst in Tenerife (I bought 3 packs)
Just wondering if anyone knows if I can get anything like these in England? My baby boy is obsessed with them!

Comforting a breastfed baby

I'm finding the only way I can soothe my 3 week old baby is by putting her on the boob! Others can rock/sway her and shes off to sleep no problem but she doesn't settle with me like this. I don't think she's clusterfeeding and she is full because she tends to bring up whatever she drinks during these comfort feeds. Any advice or is this just life with a breastfed baby? 🫠

Jabs in this heat?

Baby is due her final set of jabs tomorrow morning, but I'm wondering whether to postpone them to next week because of the heat. I think they're less likely to have a fever with the final lot. Anyone else in this situation? It's a half hour walk to the GP as well as I don't drive 😭

Baby only contact naps

Hey, I am a FTM and have a 10 week old little girl. I really struggle with getting her to settle in a Moses or a crib during the day. She won’t stay down for more than a few minutes to 20 minutes maximum. I have tried putting her down drowsy but not awake and I’ve tried when she is in a deep sleep and also tried every way possible to help her settle. Now I absolutely love the contact naps but would like some time in the day for me! Anyone else struggling with this?
