my daughters birthday is in december she will be 1, i'm just wondering how do we celebrate? i dont want a big party for adults to enjoy themselves rather than my daughter. Any days out or holidays, UK preferably but open to holidays abroad

I KNOW THEY WONT REMEMBER IT BUT I WILL, THERES ALSO NOT ANY CHILDREN HER AGE AROUND AND I JUST WANT TO HER TO WNJOY IT

WE THOUGHT OF DISNEYLAND BUT ITS OUTDOORS AND COLD IN DECEMBER.
ANY RECOMMENDATIONS?

WE ARE PLANNING A NIGHT TIME PARTY WITH JUST A CAKE AND PRESENTS WITH CLOSE FAMILY.

My son was obsessed with fish and other animals at that age so I’d recommend a aquarium . He also loved when we gifted him a Build a bear so that’s a idea too

We went to the zoo and then build a bear for the birthday bear. I tried to make it a bit of a deal but to her it was just another day out but she still enjoyed it. She didnt even care for the toys. We wrapped some of the toys up that she forgot she had as well as new ones

My little boys birthday is end of October so his first birthday we took him to a big soft play (have an amazing babies part) and on his actual birthday we opened presents and had a meal with family.

We decided to opt out of the adult party and have a day he would really love instead. I am so glad I didnt give into social pressure for a party as the memories as they are are perfect. What does she like? My little guy loves trucks and tractors etc so we went to a farm that has loads of ride on toys and a soft play so he had a really lovely day out. We had a picnic and birthday cake etc. there too. Seeing something like big animals for the first time could be pretty cool! We did that around his second birthday and he was so amazed.
