Inductions

So I’m speaking to my midwife Thursday about inductions - I’ll be 39 weeks and having my sweep.

Has anyone else asked for an induction?
I have fibromyalgia and it’s flaring up so much in later pregnancy, I can’t move or bend without having shooting pains down there, period cramps most days, keep getting back & rib pains, my feet are now swollen and I’m just so drained now😭

So I’m going to ask to be induced, can anyone let me know their experience with inductions?

This is a personal experience everyone handles it differently. Is this your 1st baby?

I had a really positive induction with my first, I had sweeps from 37 weeks and despite being 3cm I made it to induction date. Had one pessary and my waters went naturally whilst waiting for a bed in delivery to have them broken and start the hormone drip.
They may offer induction on due date with your reasonings if you request one so you could go into labour before it! Equally, trust dependent unless your midwife has confirmed it some trusts won’t/don’t offer sweeps until 40 weeks too so bare that in mind for your appointment, I wouldn’t want you to be disheartened ☺️ xx

C-section overhang

I know our bodies are so amazing, but I am 8months pp and I’m really struggling with the weight gain and the c-section overhang. Any else in the same boat?🥺😭

Is this good line progress from 14-16dpo.

Is this okay. First pic is 14 dpo. I am a bot on edge because I keep getting mild on and off cramps in pelvis which I didn’t get last pregnancy

Late period🫣

I had a c section 3 months ago, i’ve been put on the pill as i’m not allowed the copper coil back in just yet. I had 2 periods last month and now i’m currently 6 days late. My partner does also use protection. I know your periods can take up to a year to go back to normal after pregnancy but could it be pregnancy again?

My overhang is INSANE with my second..I’m a week postpartum today but I hate the way my belly is. I don’t even know what to wear or do

NHS maternity referral

I am currently 7 weeks pregnant and self referred via the NHS maternity website. I have still not heard anything a week and half after, is this normal? Has anyone else had a scan already?
