Could have written this myself. I’m a year PP and I’m still struggling. Hopefully people comment with some advice 🩷

Its the belly band we need.. once we have the baby we should be wearing it alot.. after my incision healed I switched to waist trainers to actually try to snap things back. When I have this one I'm going to try to get light core workouts in..

Since this is your second baby, it's not going to go down just as fast as your first. It'll go down in a few months because you have less scar tissue down there this time around than you did the first time. I would wear a belly binder after 4-6 weeks pp and cut back on stuff you don't need in your diet. You can also massage the area with firming lotion once it heals outside to help the skin feel less loose there. I would also dry brush the outside area once the outside heals around the scar and tummy area to drain your toxins from there. There's also a lymphatic drainage supplement you can take. Along with taking a prebiotic and probiotics to help as well. There are pelvic floor and wall pilates you can do as well but, that's for 6-8 weeks pp after your okay check up. ✔️ I hope this helps.

In shock after labour

I previously shared that I was overdue and my husband’s sisters had requested to know all the detail’s of my labour, which we agreed he would simply say it was fine.

I gave birth and I still haven’t processed how traumatic it was. It ended in an emergency c section under general anaesthesia due to an infection. Being fully dilated for hours.

In a family group chat; they asked him “how was the whole ordeal?”, I haven’t read his response but he casually mentioned that he told them I had a c section.

Even just that detail alone has filled me up with rage and disgust toward him. I’m so deeply hurt that he even shared something as simple as that.

I haven’t processed it at all and it only happened today I’m just in shock and traumatised by the experience.

Need support/words of encouragement

Looking for positive stories. I am almost 3 weeks post emergency c-section and my insides still are so uncomfortable and I developed a seroma in my incision (fine otherwise but leaking a lot of fluid. Doctor said it’s not infected). I’m so tired and overwhelmed with this. I still can’t lay on my sides, and I feel so sore.

Timing contractions

Been timing for 40 mins, consistently 3-4 mins apart lasting 1 minute each, but not growing in intensity/pain. I’m drinking water and laying on my side, switching sides, etc, to see if anything stops it. So far they’re still going, but I don’t wanna waste time going to the hospital if they’re not getting more painful/intense, as of now it’s been 40 mins of the same intensity. (Mild/moderate low back/low belly cramp).

Should I go in?

This afternoon, for the past 5 hours I’ve had lower back pain that comes in waves. Along with that I occasionally get pelvic pain. I’m trying to ignore it. But I was in the hospital over night two weeks ago with issues. So I just don’t know if I should ignore it or go in since I have a history of having issues….

I am 34 weeks

C-section overhang

I know our bodies are so amazing, but I am 8months pp and I’m really struggling with the weight gain and the c-section overhang. Any else in the same boat?🥺😭
