I’m taking lexapro. I had to try a bunch of different meds before finding the one that worked for me

I’m on one. Have been for about 15 months now. It works for me, sometimes it’s trial and error to find the right medication and dosage!

I just started sertraline I am on week 1 still (pill #3) tonight. I am starting on 25 mgs then going to 50 starting next week.

If you're struggling with PPD, depression, or anxiety, it could really help, but a doctor would be a better person to talk about this with. I was on a SSRI before I was diagnosed with ADHD. The SSRI didn't help because my symptoms were due to my ADHD. Also if you do start an SSRI, you won't see any difference for about 10 days because it has to build up in your system. Also everyone is different so sometimes you have to keep trying different SSRIs if the first doesn't work. Not trying to overwhelm you, I know figuring out mental health stuff is really hard but it's worth the work. You deserve to feel better.
