Gestational diabetes - anyone else have this test?

I've got to have this test as well in August, I hear its quite a common test and a lot of people I know have had it done, I wouldn't worry too much about it, see it as a good thung that you're being checked for it so they can give you any help you might need, some people don't have the check and end up with GD anyway and don't know so don't get the help or heads up about it, think positive 😊

I have mine on Tuesday, I have to do finger prick test for a week, then again at 24 weeks for a week as I am unable to have the drink test. I’m not too worried at all my midwife has explained everything to me in such detail that I have no worries if I end up with it or not now

I had mine done at 10+1 at the start of May, I’ve had GD in previous pregnancy and had sugar in my urine at my booking appointment. The test isn’t as bad as people say it is, just take something to do whilst you wait between blood tests. I have got it again this pregnancy.

I had it in my first pregnancy, it honestly wasn’t too bad. People complain about the taste of the drink, but they’d chilled it so it just tasted cold for me.
