I had a really bad experience with it, I was in hospital for a week they tried to induced me on the Monday and still nothing happened by Friday and my body was so tired because of it. They did the sweep / tablets and it was just very tiring they kept saying I was so Many centre meters dilated and then someone else said different. But everyoneâs different so hopefully yours goes well. Just donât get discouraged if it doesnât happen straight away and listen to your body because if you feel like you need a break from it do it! I had to take a break and then couple days later my little girl showed up.

Do you know what kind of induction? I would say ask all the questions, if you are unclear ask the question, you should not feel forced or pressured into something without informed consent. Questions like what happens if we do now vs wait? Someone else just posted today about hers, check the comments. You got this mama!
Since people are saying get epidural but dont overdose, if you do and cant feel anything and struggle to feel you are pushing ask to play tug-o-war, it makes your body bare down naturally.

Try to get your epidural before they start the Pitocin. If theyâre manually breaking your water, again do it after epidural. Try not to get overmedicated on the epidural if you have the one with the button. Some are automatic and others let you click. I definitely overmedicated myself with my very first baby and had a much harder time pushing. With my second child I was in mild pain, but push pushing was so much easier and it took the majority of the pain away. No ring of fire. If youâre not using an epidural, just expect the labor to be more intense with sharper pain. Iâve had naturally occurring labor and induction. Induction is much more intense. I caved on the epidural both times. Actually cried for it when I was induced. Good look! You can do this!

if pitocin is being used and you plan on pain management ask for the epidural before pitocin. worst pain i had during the whole thing was the pitocin contractions! labor is long especially if your body is not ready yet! be patient. push like youâre gonna go poop while pushing.

I was inducted with the pessary, I had the 1st one and it didnât really do anything so they gave me another 24hrs later, it took a few hours but I went from 1cm to 10 in a hour. Unfortunately they didnât believe me or want to check me when I was in sooo much pain cause in their words â they just checked me under a hour ago and I was 1cm) so I went the whole labour with no gas n air or any pain relief till I felt a pop (waters broke and Iâve never experienced that) I shouted to the midwife that something just popped in my stomach đ
thatâs when she checked me again and said omg the babyâs head is there đ it was painful but beautiful experience, only advice I can give is advocate for yourself and listen to your body cause you know it best â€ïž
If I didnât research box breathing labour exercises I would of been âfâd

Omg all this advice is amazing and so helpful

I had a good induction, I canât speak for everyone but the one thing I can say is if feel like you have to poo then say something to someone cause that could be your baby coming, also afterwards drink lots of water, rest as much as you can even if you donât have complications like tearing or anything, still rest very much, I was still hurting on the inside and I could feel like, it felt like a pulled muscle but at the same time felt like someone was stabbing me with a knife over and over,
