Anxiety ridden

I told my fiancé today after having four vvv faint positives and getting a clear positive today! And we’re both so excited but so nervous as we lost our first pregnancy in March.

Does anyone have any tips on dealing with the anxiety?💕

Congratulations! Book an early scan if you can☺️ i think actually because if your history you may even be able to get it on NHS but i’m not too sure!

Can reqlly relate on the anxiety, and would just suggest to hold space for it. Remind yourself that it's a valid expression of your grief & you can be/have more than one thing/emotion at the same time.
Congratulations! 💕

How are we doing?

How are we all feeling? 4 days left till the due date for me. My suit case is packed and in the car ready. Just need to do a snacks shop for the hospital. The closer to july we get, the more im bricking it. I think my body is doing a clear out as I have been on and off the toilet through the morning with more episodes on saturday. Im so over this pregnancy. I just want baby out now.

Pregnancy pillows?

(Only 5 weeks so lots of time to decide) What are your favourite shapes for pregnancy pillows? Bonus if it can double as a nursing pillow once baby is here.

Second time mum and I hardly bought anything for myself last pregnancy - I was a bit in denial to begin with and also a student without much money 😅 but by the time I needed things like maternity clothes and a pregnancy pillow, it didn’t feel worth it with only a few months left. Not making that mistake this time!

35 weeks anxiety 😭

I’m 35 weeks and baby has been head down for a few weeks.

The pressure down below is so uncomfortable and has been lots of lightening crotch. But when I lie down on my side it calms. Baby is a wee wriggler too. I sleep fine at night too. But during the day I can’t walk anywhere or do anything because the only release I get is when sitting with feet up or lying down. I feel so useless.

I have a scheduled section as I had c section first time. My fear is what if I go early - it terrifies me.
How do u know if I’m in labour? People say you just know but what if I don’t.

Everyday I’m constantly symptom checking but I’m so miserable and anxious constantly.

Midwife said pressure is worse this time because it’s my 2nd and pelvic floor
Muscles isn’t the same. But said it’s very normal.

I don’t think I can do this for 5 weeks I’m so scared I go early. 😭 I’ve cried everyday and I have a toddler so I’m constantly on the go.
