Co-sleeping

I’m about to start co sleeping with my LO, how did ppl get over their fear of rolling on them? I know they say you have the mothers instinct so u don’t move but that still doesn’t stop me worrying

As long as you’ve researched safe co-sleeping and remember to sleep in the c curl you won’t roll because you physically can’t when you’re in c-curl

If you sleep in the cuddle curl you literally cannot roll on them.

I’ve co-slept with both of my babies from birth and you’re insanely aware of their every breath - there’s no way you’d roll on them providing you’re following the safe sleep 7 and are sober, haven’t taken any medication that makes you drowsy etc etc. I’ve never woken up even an inch from where I fell asleep x

Not got an easy answer I’m afraid, but I was exactly where you are with my first. I waited until she wasn’t tiny tiny because I was scared of this, but followed all the safe sleep advice and never had any issues. In fact it was amazing. Total life saver and I really fell in love with it.

Found a lot of the recommended safe co-sleeping advice is all about what not to do . I wanted advice on what TO do so a friend put me onto ‘happycosleeper’ on Insta. Worth a look for inspiration

Have started a lot earlier with my newborn and it’s meant I haven’t reached the same depths of exhaustion I did first time. Honestly can’t rate co sleeping enough

Social media babies sleeping 10 hours+

Please tell me I’m not the only mom who’s baby still isn’t sleeping thru the night.
My son is gonna be 6m soon and I keep on saying videos saying he should already be sleeping thru the night no wakings to feed. He eats like how he does during the day, wakes every 3 hours, he very quickly goes back to sleep.
We’re not interested in doing any kind of harsh sleep training, we just have a good nighttime routine and just attend to our baby when he calls for us
Any other moms sleep waking up with their babies? And when did your baby (non sleep training) start sleeping thru the night or at least longer stretches.

My little girl (17m) is poorly for the first time and it’s breaking my heart.

I just wrote a post asking how to make administering medication less stressful for my little girl but I feel so sad I need to say something. It’s now 1.30am. I’m covered in penicillin sick and precious baby tears. Plus my own tears. She’s got tonsillitis and has been prescribed penicillin, and she just hates it. I’ve been instructed to wake her for her nightly dose (5ml every 6 hours, 4 times a day) and this is the 2nd out of 6 doses already given that she’s thrown it up on me because she’s so distressed that she just cries, gags, coughs, and vomits. She’s not allergic, showing no obvious signs of allergy, she just has a serious aversion to medicine administration. Idek know what I’m aiming to get out of posting this, I just feel so alone (her dad and me aren’t technically together, and he left on an argument tonight) and im so hurt hearing her so distressed because she doesn’t know what’s happening. She doesn’t know why she’s so poorly. She doesn’t know I’m trying to help. She’s never been poorly like this so it’s really hard for me, she’s my first born and it’s just breaking my heart. 😢

Babies must know when we sacrifice for them

It’s 1000 degrees outside and I have a stomach flu but I strapped my baby to my chest and went for a walk anyway because she was fussy. The whole walk she was cooing, kicking her legs, and overall in a fantastic mood. Now that we’re home I’m convalescing on the couch while she plays with her toys in peace.

12m son keeps purposely banging his head

My son is almost 13 months old and he has been purposely hitting his head repeatedly on things like the tile floor or glass back door for apparently no reason. I stop him and he throws a fit.

I’ve googled it and it seems normal for some babies.

Has anyone’s baby done this and when do they stop!?

Formula feeding 8 week old

My son turned 8 weeks old today and for the last 3/4 days he’s been eating 6 ounces every 3/4 hours. Today he drank 7 bottles in 24 hours, is this too much?
I am feeding on demand, he is pretty much finishing them all (leaves a bit of foam)

He is on anti reflux milk and isn’t bringing anything up!

He was weighed today and he is 11lb 8oz and the midwife had no concerns with his weight gain.

How frequently is your baby waking throughout the night?

And how many weeks are they? Do you have a bedtime(ish)?
