Feeling rather defeated

I've been there before. We tried for a year, and I finally set up a doctor's appointment to start talking about IVF treatments. I was relieved I had some help and it wasn't solely on me anymore. My husband and I started having fun again. At that appointment, I was able to tell my doctor we didn't need treatments because I was pregnant. A few months after my daughter turned one, my husband wanted to try for another. I really didn't want one right now, but I knew it took a year to get pregnant with my daughter, so I thought I had time. Got pregnant immediately. One of the pastors at my church was talking about the same issue he and his wife had. She had cancer, and the doctor told her she couldn't have kids. She beat cancer, but they accepted that it was God's will she couldn't have kids, so they adopted a little girl. They ended up having two of their own.
