Bathing everyday is advised against for children of all ages. The natural oils in their skin is good for them. I only bathe my 3 year old 3 or 4 times a week and my 6 weeks old 2 or 3 times.

We've been bathing our little girl everyday before bed since she was 10 days old and her cord had dropped off.

We only use bubble bath and wash her hair once a week though.

Please send help

Recently posted this but nothings changing and we need help! Almost 3 weeks now my 13 month old has not been sleeping at night. 2/2:30 wakes up crying and will not settle no matter what we try. It’s taking hours for him to give in. When we go in he settles but as soon as we leave he cries. One occasion I swapped him into a warmer tog sleeping bag and we got a one off night of sleep. We’ve tried offering a bottle which he’s downed but that’s made no help. We literally do not know what to do😫 He’s resisting daytime sleep and I do think he is on the cusp of dropping a second nap. Currently 5am and we’ve been awake since 2:30😭 it’s having a big toll on my husband and I especially given we are up early for work in the week. He’s always been a good sleeper and slept through from newborn. Has anyone got any suggestions, tips etc please? I honestly can’t carry on like this much longer

Dummy

Hi. My 4 week old hasn’t took to a dummy at all since birth. She will suck it for a few seconds then spit it out. She suffers with reflux and is on medication for it and I’ve been told offering a dummy can help with the reflux but I can’t get her to take it! Any tips?

9 week, sleep pattern

My baby had his last bottle at 10:45 and slept till 6:30am. Is this too long?

I understand they naturally wake up to reduce SIDS. All research is conflicting, one post will say babies this age sleep between 6-8 hours and others state they should be waking up for feeds and going no longer than 4 hours?

He has regained his birth weight and continuously gaining weight and having enough nappies.

He does have enough calories in the day also.

Breastfeeding and coughing and gaggin

My little one is 11 days old.

Im breastfeeding and in the day he will be latched for about 10 minutes, and he does the same at night time but it varies from 10 minutes to about 30 minutes. Im leaking a lot from both breasts as well.

Occasionally he will cough and follow up with a gag after about 5 minutes on the breast, Ive googled what this could be and it says I could be producing to much milk and baby could be getting full quick and that's why he is coughing and following it up with a gag.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so what did you have to do?

He also coughs and gags randomly, but not all of the time its just occasional.

Earplugs

Does anyone wear earplugs when sleeping?

My LO has suddenly got really really loud and grunty which can also be in attribute to his growth spurt but I am getting zero sleep.

Wondering people experiences of wearing earplugs and hearing their LO etc

Thank you

Can you please share current routines? (I know they will be loose)

I am just wanting to understand what an evening looks like and amount of time little one sleeps.

Do they have a large wake window before their final night feed? Or just same as the day waking every couple hours for a feed?
