Hi. My 4 week old hasn’t took to a dummy at all since birth. She will suck it for a few seconds then spit it out. She suffers with reflux and is on medication for it and I’ve been told offering a dummy can help with the reflux but I can’t get her to take it! Any tips?

What brand have you tried

I found the tommee tippee ultra light stay put ones have been quite good for us

Some babies just won't take to a dummy, out lo is 8 weeks old and she hates dummies unless it's on her terms.

Some just don't, mine never did.

I tried normal dummy but couldn't because most dummies are curved and it digs into my sons cheeks etc so I bought flat ones from amazon and he loves it but doesnt suck dummies all the time, he spits it out most of time and only sucks it to fall asleep

My little boy suffers with reflux.
He had a TT when he was born, I didn’t want to use dummy’s before he got here
But just in case I got the ‘Perfect match NUK pacifiers’
Doesn’t mark the face, won’t change the shape of the pallet for their development
They are brilliant
I bought in a whole load of them
Other brands he didn’t take too to big or the shape wasn’t natural. Just ended up spitting them out.
Can’t recommend NUK Perfect match enough -
