Has anyone started lifting heavier than baby after having a caesarean? I'm 6 weeks PP tomorrow and have a 2 year old toddler. I'm eager to start driving again so I can take the toddler out to burn off energy, but I've not had the 6 weeks check up yet, and won't have this until the 15th July. My wound looks healed bar one side still looks raised and doesn't look as healed as the rest. I've read this could be the side they closed up the wound? For those that have had caesareans is yours the same?

I’m 6 weeks PP on Wednesday and icl I’ve been lifting heavier than I should since 4 weeks PP. I assumed they didn’t mean only lift weight of baby for the full 6 weeks but I’ve now realised I was wrong😂😂😂

I have a 3 year old and he’s 17kg, I’ve been lifting him since 2 weeks. He’s autistic so I don’t have a choice 🙃

I started driving at 5 weeks pp so was lifting car seat with baby in and the pram I was going stir crazy sat at home relying on other people. I didn’t have check up till 7 weeks but they was more bothered about baby, wasn’t even going to look at my scar until I asked.
I guess it depends how you feel if you can do an emergency stop with no pain then I don’t see why you can’t drive.
